Fat balls have never tasted so good… Seriously Good.
Coconut Dark Chocolate Fat Balls
2 cups walnuts
2 tbs coconut oil
2 cups dates -pitted
1 cup unsweetened coconut
1 tbs vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
1-2 tbs dark cacao powder
In a food processor, blend walnuts and coconut oil. When your nuts reach your desired chop, add the remaining ingredients and blend it all together.
Line a pan with parchment paper– or not, it won’t make a huge difference. The pan will be used to put your balls on to set. Scoop desired amount of mix into your palms and roll forming… a ball. A Delcious. Fat. Ball. When rolled, place on your tray.
Once you have done this for the entire mix, sprinkle the gorgeous, fat balls with crushed nuts, if you’re feeling wild. Skip this step if you don’t want nuts to get in the way of the sweet taste of your fat balls. But know, your balls won’t be as fat.
Place the tray in the freezer, sit down to an episode of Game of Thrones, with a glass of wine or a blunt. I won’t judge. Just something to do to pass 1 hr as you anxiously wait for your fat balls to settle.
Store in the refrigerator when done, or freezer if you like your fat balls frozen.
